a full day of wedding planning guidance and creative strategy for diy brides & grooms!


If you’re seeking beautiful event design and/or wedding planning guidance on a limited budget and/or in a fast timeframe, our Design-in-a-Day creative session may be the perfect fit for you!

This session affords you the opportunity to spend up to six delightful hours with our team of experts accomplishing many tasks that would often be spread out over a period of weeks or months!

We begin by conducting thorough pre-session research.  We will send you a two-page questionnaire for you to complete and return to us at least one week prior to your creative session date. Based on the information you provide, we’ll start to research vendors and brainstorm ideas that will be the best possible fit for your wedding.

At our creative session, we’ll spend the first couple hours in a guided brainstorming process. We’ll review a vast collection of images and concepts to hone in on your design preferences. After lunch (we’ll order in – out treat!) we’ll dive in to a discussion of details, fabrics, color palettes, and more.  You’ll have unfettered access to our team’s vast expertise for the day.

By the time you leave, you’ll have a comprehensive toolkit in hand, including but not limited to the following:

  • A suggested planning timeline
  • Custom budget with itemized detail prepared just for you
  • A personalized inspiration board and design plan
  • A handpicked list of recommended vendors and creative partners/resources to help you pull it all off on your own!

Additionally, all Design-in-a-Day clients enjoy exclusive discounts and special offers for wedding stationery and many other goods/services from our creative partners.

Creative sessions are $1,600 and are booked Tuesdays-Fridays, pending mutual availability.  A 50% deposit is due upon booking your session and the remaining 50% is due 48 hours prior to the start of your session.  All creative session clients are also entitled to our team's event day management services at a reduced cost (beginning at $1,900), pending availability. 

If you are located outside of the Winston-Salem, North Carolina area, we are happy to help you arrange hotel accommodations for an overnight stay!
